Who operates Still
Still is operated by Jaret Priddy (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains information handling for the Still iPhone and iPad app and the website at listenstill.app. For privacy questions or requests, email support@listenstill.app.
Still has no separate user-account system, advertising, or tracking SDKs. App and website features differ; the sections below explain each.
Your listening and website storage
The sound player does not require a separate Still account, accept uploads, or request microphone, camera, contacts, or precise-location access. We have not added advertising pixels or analytics services to the player.
Your master volume is saved in your browser’s local storage under still-volume so it can be remembered on your next visit. Your selected sounds, layer volumes, searches, and sleep timer stay in the current page’s memory and are not saved as a listening-history database or synced to a Still account. Audio files may also be cached by your browser.
The volume preference remains until you clear this site’s browser data or your browser removes it. You can manage storage and cookies in your browser settings. Blocking storage may prevent the volume preference from being remembered.
The iPhone and iPad app
The app keeps favorites, saved mixes, preferences, recent listening, and saved timer choices in local device storage. Recordings are bundled with the app and other sounds are generated on your device, so listening does not require downloading a sound from our servers. We do not receive this local library or maintain a listening-history database on a server. The app does not provide a Still cloud-sync account or include third-party analytics.
Deleting the app removes its local app data. Device backups and restoration may retain or restore copies according to your Apple settings; deleting the app does not delete those backups. You can remove favorites and saved mixes within Still and manage backups through Apple.
Apple processes purchases. Still uses verified StoreKit transaction information, such as the purchased product and its entitlement status, to unlock Plus and restore access. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may provide developers with sales reports, diagnostics, and TestFlight feedback under its services and your sharing choices.
On supported versions of iOS and iPadOS, setting a wake-up alarm asks for Apple’s alarm permission. The alarm time and alert configuration are passed to the operating system so it can ring the alarm. You can cancel alarms in Still and manage alarm permission in device Settings. The app does not request microphone, camera, contacts, or precise-location access.
Apple’s services, purchases, backups, and diagnostics are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. Opening a website link from the app makes a normal web request and is covered by the website-hosting section below.
Website hosting and service providers
This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. Hosting and delivery providers receive technical information needed to serve the page and sound files, such as IP address, browser information, request times, and requested URLs. A sound-file URL can indicate which recording your browser requested.
The public website does not require sign-in. Cloudflare processes traffic for delivery, reliability, and security, and may use necessary security cookies. We may see operational traffic and security information through the hosting service. We have not added advertising or visitor-analytics scripts to the player.
Hosting and security processing is subject to the applicable provider terms. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for information about their services, retention, and privacy choices. Providers may process information outside your country; this site does not promise storage in a particular country.
Device and browser-assistant controls
To support media controls, the app and website share the current sound title and playback status with your browser or operating system. These details may appear in a media panel or on your lock screen.
In supported browsers, an assistant you choose to use can read the current playback state, sound layers, volumes, and timer, and can control playback through the page’s available actions. Use your browser or assistant settings to manage that access. Any information handled by that assistant is also subject to its provider’s privacy policy.
Messages and information use
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, including attachments. Please send only information needed for your request. We use it to respond, provide support, address security issues, and meet legal obligations.
Support mail is routed through Cloudflare to a Google-hosted support inbox. These providers process message contents and email metadata to deliver, store, and protect correspondence. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s policy linked above. We do not sell personal information or use information we receive to target advertising. We may disclose information where legally required or where necessary to protect people, Still, or legal rights.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing a service you request, our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and keeping Still secure, and applicable legal obligations. Where we ask for consent, you may withdraw it.
We retain correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle related disputes, or meet legal requirements. Hosting providers manage their own service records under the applicable terms. No online system can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and rights
You can clear the site’s browser data to remove the saved volume preference, or delete local app data as described above. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to restrict or object to its use. Contact support@listenstill.app to make a request; we may need to verify that the information belongs to you. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator.
For information held by a hosting or browser-assistant provider for its own services, use that provider’s privacy controls or contact process. Clearing the player’s local storage does not delete provider account or security records.
Children’s privacy
Still is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact support@listenstill.app so we can address it.
Policy updates
We will update this page when Still’s information practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the website, with additional notice or consent where required.
